Parkwood

Point Cook

Parkwood consists of 47 medium density houses, designed to form the entrance statement to Frasers’ Life Point Cook land subdivision. Parkwood will deliver a range of house sizes and types responding to varying purchaser profiles.

The elevational treatment of the houses has been designed to respond to the landscape concept of the adjoining public park, also developed by Frasers. The park design originated through a three dimensional interpretation of the Fibonacci sequence, a mathematical sequence which describes multiple phenomena in science and music.

Frasers reinforced the Fibonacci sequence as an ordering device in the design of house facades, disposition of colours and materials, and in the detailed site landscaping for the development.

One house within the development was documented to achieve Passive House standards of airtightness and thermal performance, as a test case for Frasers.
