Interia Apartments
333 Burwood Highway Burwood
As part of the Interia Burwood development, Frasers constructed four low rise apartment buildings, with a total of 120 one- and two-bedroom apartments over three levels.
Frasers documented a design concept by Daryl Jackson Architects (now Jackson Architecture) which both skilfully integrated the four buildings within the existing landscape and reflected the existing topography through the parapet forms.
The project was built by Frasers’ internal construction team. Early buildings employed lightweight floor construction above ground using open web floor joists and Hebel floor panels. In response to perceived complexity of lightweight construction to achieve necessary fire performance, later buildings utilised suspended concrete slab floor construction. All external walls were lightweight construction with pre-finished cladding.
